Vrs Mk1 Exhaust Done

Recommended Posts

Hi there.

Just finished my exhaust mod and wanted to show you guys a sample of it.
Removed the final exhaust piece, replaced with stainless stell pipe and added a Magnaflow Y tips to it.

The pipe stretches from the intermediate piece all the way to the back.

Here's a few pics and a video with it.

KW Suspension. Green springs with purple shocks.

Budget is a problem but a RARB is on the wishlist. :)

Just ordered a Powerflex dog bone bush, oil and other small bits and pieces for servicing.

Thank you.

Hmmm not sure about your question.

The cat is still there, intermediate muffler is still there, just the back muffler has been removed and replaced with straight pipe and tips. No silencer from the middle to the back of the car. Juuuust stainless steel. :D

The tip is Y shaped. The standard exhaust muffler uses two pipes towards the standard tip. You must get two separate tips or modify the pipes coming out of the muffler and turn them into one for the Y tip.

Search some pictures of the standard muffler and you will understand.
