As title, noticed this morning that my rear lights weren't working so I had to drive to work with rear fog. Went to halfords and found out that the bulb was okay (only took one out) so could it be a fuse and if so which furs is it please? Also has anyone got a diagram of the rear of the light unit telling which bulb is which as if your looking at it from the back of the unit??

Yes smarty pants [emoji14] i know where they are 'behind the red bit' but I meant if you take the cluster out then look at it from the back.

Rear lights come under the same fuse as the interior boot light. Does that work?

Its a 15a i think. But i cant be sure.theres only 2 or 3 of its kind in the fuse box.

Yes blue one between the 1 browns.

Get the multimeter on it to check the continuity through the fuse.

Ive opens my fuses up and I don't have that blue fuse at all so it's not that one :/. This is what I've got

dont knock the Citreon C2, had one for 9 months, never let me down, so there, lol

What is the story then with your rear lights.?

 

Are they standard Bulbs.

 

If you put down the Indicator Stalk and get out of the car,

do you have one Front Parking Light,  (Side Light)

& one Rear Parking Light, (side light)  & the one Number Plate light at the same side?

Done it was only a fuse on the right hand side 2nd one at the top bloody things but I don't understand why it popped. But that fuse runs: rear lights/side lights and number plate lights.

Wonder why its different to mine then :s.

Would of thought itd be the same? What years your car?

Differences because the vRS has Sidelight / DRL units as one.  DRL Inhibit switch.

 

DSG, Inhibitor, TPMS,  XDS, & other various bits and pieces.

 

Naths & mine were built the same time and will be pretty much the same spec.

Poverty Spec.

eg, No Electric Rear Windows.

silly to see that manufacturers have gone backwards and run all rear lights on one fuse.  used to be standard principle that you ran left side lights and right side lights on separate  fuses for obvious reasons .

 

must be reason why so many people don't use indicators  too
