1.3 Starter units - are they swappable?

The starter on my Favorit (*6 engine)needs an overhaul ... it would be very handy if I could substitute one 'borrowed' from a Felicia 1.3 MPi (currently SORNed), so that I can take my time in applying the necessary TLC.

Are the units interchangeable - or could I make big trouble if I try to find out the hard way?

Yes they are interchangeable.

 

I used  a felicia starter for my favorit engine (the updated version)
