Has anyone had any problems with boot not opening with key fob. When i press mine it only half opens i have to go open manually. is it out of alignment? by the way my octavia is 2012 vrs hatchback

That's normal.

When you say 'half opens' do you mean it unlocks and pops up less than an inch?

If so that's normal. Auto opening (fully open) was never an option on the Octavia only on some Superbs (although may be wrong on that).

it will just pop slightly, they don't open fully unless you fit parts from a VAG that has that from factory. The Bora guys have been doing the full pop open mod for a while

Its to give you time to wipe all the rain of the boot lid before it rises and dumps it all in the boot. Skoda Simply Clever lol.
