I'm looking for options in Ayrshire and surrounding area for servicing.

I've used Ingram in Ayr but are there any other options you'd recommend?

Needing to get a full service and cambelt/water pump change on an Octy MkII 2.0 CR 170 VRS

Do they rollers, as the only place that has them I know of is Stan in Hillington (ecotune)

HK were quite busy at the time, but I managed to get a good job done locally by RM in Ardeer. Thanks again for the help. I might consider a remap in the future, but at the moment I'm quite pleased with the performance and economy!

Just booked into Ingrams for a free 'checkup' on my new Octavia - getting a bit of a 'bad vibe' coming through here...

Should I be wary?

Just bought the car from an auction - and I don't know Skoda as well as I do Vauxhall (2 astras, one did 144 000, the other 188 000 miles - so I know Astras !)

Hi, hopefully you won't mind my question here - I don't have an Octavia, but its close relative from a Spanish brand. But mechanically, they are same. Anyway, I have a 77kW CBZB. It worked flawlessly for the year I own the car, but when this summer started, I noticed occasional loss of power. It only happens in hot weather (around 30 degrees and up) with AC on. In most cases, it happened when I wanted to accelerate after mild climbing at lower gear at ~2000RPM. It feels almost like a limp mode

Mid-way through a holiday in France and the Infotainment gremlins are back… SOS call fail, parking distance fail and manoeuvre assist fail, coupled with infotainment system booting, lasting about 30s, freezing and rebooting. SOS light on red and multiple warnings on dash. Car is coming up to 2 years old and has had repeated software issues. Could really use some help from someone who has had this issue and can stop the endless reboots !!!

Hi all fabia Monte Carlo received car with no history, but completed checks using VCDS engine was healthy except 2 sec rattle cold start. I want to change my tensioner because I believe it’s failing to hold tension due to the 2 sec rattle on cold start which immediately ceases and also fails to reoccur when turning on car a second time, or if it’s only been stood a short while. The car makes no noise after initial start all through Rev range and is very responsive despite being hig

Hi good people! I just updated my car to SW 332 (came with 330). I have Superb combi 2023 Style, but it has Columbus (bigger) MIB3 infotainment. First I wanted to update maps, as it was V25.5. So, I've downloaded 26.2 (latest from https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/), added it to the USB-A stick, but nothing happened, no notification. Left the stick inside and in the meantime got trial for Infotainment online package. Now it's saying map version 26.6 (despite online showing 26.2), so what happ
