There has been a few cases with products being shipped from Australia through DHL and getting f*@#(d at customs so I am not ordering anything from there I'm afraid.

 

I found one from AMDEssex but says it only ships to UK, maybe worth dropping an email asking of they can arrange something.

 

AMDessex has their own Ebay shop. The parts in the link above are all from AMDessex (apart from where is specifically states from Australia). You can order it from Ebay (the links above) and collect it from their shop and get it fitted too so guaranteed no shipping costs. Not too sure what the worry is all about, after all i got mine from their ebay shop with no problems.

 

One question: Did you buy yours directly from GFB Australia? It seems most european GFB stockists don't have it at the moment. There's some terrible shipping costs (1/3 the product's price) that I'd like to avoid if possible.

 

Half the shipping cost is a government tax on postage. Aussie dollar has dropped in value now so should be a good time to buy.

Shipping from Australia with DHL has got two friends of mine asked to pay the product's price again in import tax so I won't be risking it. After all they are supposed to have so many european dealers but everyone I spoke to seems to be "expecting it soon".

Sorry mate your just another victim of "just in time retail" , ie. get the product to the customer just before they get ****ed off and go somewhere else. In other words they have no plans of keeping any in stock. 

anything bad yet or does it still work good . iam about to order one since i got a ton of new parts to install next week . 

I spoke with a scirocco owner that uses this on his stage 2 1.4 tsi and is very happy about it so I ordered one yesterday, looking forward to receiving it now.

you using the stock one or forge atm ? .

iam using the forge atm , but it works way to loud on part trottle (leaks boost on part trottle but works okish full trottle)

I've only heard bad comments about the Forge BOVs on the vRS. Everybody that I know of that used them removed them after a while. GFB seems to be a good piece of kit that works as it's supposed to, will find out soon enough I guess.
