Do these cars have an electric heater element as well as running off the coolant circuit? My heating has never been very good, and it is bugging me now. I wonder if the electric part (if they have one) is working.

I don't reckon I have one, coz mine takes a good three miles before I get warm air.  Bum's nice'n warm though  :sun:

About the same as mine then. I see there is a big aux heater which is for certain territories only (doubt uk would be included). The thing that always confuses me a little is the blower "resistor" you see in pics - but I guess this only heats a little as a result of dropping the voltage to the blower fan?

My 2.0 is blowing out tepid air after a mile and warm after two - I guess that big ol' V6 lump takes more warming-up? But yes - back 'n' bum lovely and toasty!
