  • There doesn't seem to be any love for Kimi after coming from the back and finishing 4th  - I haven't seen his name mentioned once in any of the commentaries. I think he did well after the mess up that

  • Really?   Probably one of the first races this season that I've fully watched and if I'm totally honest I was bored out of my tree - processional at the best. Plus the pinnacle of motor racing and t

Bernie won't give them TV time. That's why you hardly see them.

I like they managed to hang on although there are a few who hate the fact they are and some suppliers of then Marussia are struggling.

Well if Rosberg doesn't buck up soon, his team role will clearly be to get in Vettel's way for the rest of the season.

I think he's stressing about being a number two.

Maybe Lewis's much vaunted new contract has a few new clauses in it that he's negotiated that are causing Nico some premature discomfort?.

Rosberg could well be done mentally. Never seen someone so dejected in a top car before.

Agreed. Webber always believed that he could beat Vettel in their time in the Red Bull rocket ships. If Rosberg start beating Hamilton soon and Ferrari remain a threat, he could find himself very quickly pushed into a supporting role to ensure that Lewis can win the title.

I'd be too to an extent. Imagine, you are driving a car which is by far the fastest on the grid. This is your best chance to become WDC for the first time and it might not happen again. Still, you are not winning and your team mate is not beating you at all. Your driving style is such that you are able to preserve the tyre better and you do not have to sow down... yet you are forced to - I'd be blooming livid!

Last year LH was generally better at tyre use and fuel use on raceday than NR - who was clearly better at qualifying setups though.

If Britney is so quick, why doesn't he overtake Hamilton now and then?

...apart from getting his car to the finish quicker 3 times out of 3 you mean?

If Nico was being slowed down so much, he should have made more effort to overtake.

If his car was capable of much faster lap times, he would have been able to close really quickly.

Lewis was just much better on the day.

And who is Britney? ;):)

Don't get me wrong, LH showed masterclass and was better and if NR was in fact quicker then he should have done his talking on the track, as I wrote earlier :). I am no Rosberg's groupie :D.

I think the problem was NR was quicker than LH at that stage of the eace but not quicker enough. He could not have overtaken him beacue if he reduced the gap any more he'd be in dirty air and his tyres would be shot within few laps. Even Wolf said they were very close to making a call and asking LH to move over as the situation was getting really skittish.

Yes the fast Ferrari has given MB a few problems they never really had to face last year.

I think MB was overreacting to the previous race where their tyres simply did not work, overheated massively and ate themselves letting SV win easily.

Here's hoping Bahrain is going to be as good as last year.

If not, there's BTCC, WTCC, MotoGP, SBK, BSB, Indycar, NASCAR, & USC all on.

The weekend just isn't long enough!!

I think Domino's delivery boy is going to be driving the length of East 1st Street several times this Friday through Sunday.

You forgot NHRA - Four Wide Nationals was a blast. 40,000bhp trying to stop the rotation of the planed for 4 secs at a time. Some stat guy said that during single pass at 4Wide Nationals there was more bhp on the strip that the full field of NASCR lol

I started enjoying Rallycross recently as well

But hey, this F1 thread and we are supposed to be getting excited here about F1, not some other inferior forms of motorsport ;)

If the weather holds I will be cleaning cars this weekend, they are in a dear need of some TLC...

I'll be barely leaving the house this weekend with all this motorsport on.

I've got a tip for Rosberg, press the pedal on the right.

He he he, good one!

Bahrain this weekend and Rosberg claims he will beat Hamilton soon. Does this mean the start of the 'dirty' tricks of last season?

Apart from his spraying preferences I think dreaded Political Correctness reared its ugly head again...
