If the DVLA are given the right info in the first place...

Our silver elegance was down as Beige on the V5. A few photos off to the DVLA and its now silver.

So was mine.

perhaps the dvla thought SE was abbreviation of Sport Edition when the spec was being loaded onto the system... May have it corrected now but cars set up prior to the error being spotted were assigned wrong details...

Nope, it's very on and off, I've been trying to get it on film, luckily it's due for it's 20,000 mile service next month :thumbup:

While car was in driver heat shield replaced.

Still waiting for skoda uk to send confirmation letter so I can send it on to dvla for spec correction

Now bad news car has developed a very nasty sound under hard acceleration like a metal on metal whirring sound? ???

Also under hard acceleration revs seem to remain high when changing gear making a loud hunting sound.

Any ideas on possible problems guys? ??

The revs on mine stay high when booting it. It's normal. My Rapid has this too.

In a high gear, the engine will be straining with foot to the medal until about 2500 rpm, and do until then it'll make that noise. If it worries you, drop a gear. You'll get more power too if you're really needing it.

As for the high revs taking forever to come back down, this is a characteristic of the citigo. Don't worry about it.
