vRS mode button has arrived

Featured Replies

After a debate with Skoda UK Parts technical and Skoda in Czech in which I was proved right and them wrong (I work for The Trade Parts Specialists), I finally received the vRS button that can be fitted to my car! For a standard spec vRS the part number is 5E2927238LWHS and for vehicles with park assist like mine 5E2927238NWHS (see photo)

why?

why?

Why not? Makes it look different from run of the mill Octavia's and I can find things out easily because of my job and contacts I have at SUK.

Cool - find me a part number out for the latest firmware update DVD for the MIB Columbus and what firmware version is on it :)

I'll give it a go! Can't promise anything as my site is attached to a VW dealer and i have to butter up Skoda contacts.

Cheers - looking for anything later than 0370 :)

How easy/hard is it to fit?

I'm not sure as I'm still trying to find out.

What does this do?

What does this do?

It replaces the standard "drive mode" select button and has "vRS mode" on it instead. Purely for cosmetic reasons that's all

Guess I'll have to slum it with a standard mode button on my 'run of the mill Octavia' then...

Looks pretty cool!!!

Wish my VRS had a calm the **** down button ;)

So how much quicker is vRS mode....?

No need to get your knickers in a twist or take what I said completely out of context. I'm just helping out with what other people and myself have been looking for. If you don't like or disagree with something I post then kindly do not comment

The whole point of a forum is that people discuss things and give opinions. I don't wear knickers, prefer boxers, so no issue there.

I'd suggest that your posting might be a more appropriate response to your own comment. Whilst my comment might be tongue in cheek it certainly wasn't rude or abrupt unlike yours...

As the title of this thread is mainly specifically for owners of the vRS model i can see why owning an l&k model you may think why... However people have asked for this information which i have now supplied and no offence meant

I'm not knocking the subject of the thread. Just your comment that all models other than VRS are 'run of the mill'. There are all sorts of owners on this forum. The fact that I have an L & K is irrelevant. Whether you own a 1.2 S or the most expensive model in the range with every extra going it is the model that is right for you and which your hard earned money has gone on...

Anyway, point made and no offence taken...

I've have been looking for the part number for the vRS mode button nice one thank

An L&K will just have mode.... because it's not a vRS....
