How do I find out when the next service is due ?

 

The manual says press the reset button until 'service' comes up, but it only brings up Time and Battery SOC - no mention of service

I only got time and service when using that button. No battery charge display.

I have the octavia elegance estate.

From the car status on the infotainment unit?

No. The trip reset button in front of the instruments.

Turn the key one click. Then hold the reset button down.

Ahh - time and battery come up when the ignition is off, time,battery and service come up when it is on - who knew ?

I just get time and service. No battery.

My car is an elegance.

If you are talking about the battery charge indicator it doesn't seem to be enabled in some regions. It can be enabled with VCDS

That must be the reason then, cause I can't see it as the manual states.

It is pretty useless anyway, don't worry about it.

 

On my previous car it always read 80%, even after 4 hours of motorway driving.

 

I haven't bothered looking on this one yet.
