I will have another look next time im in car, I was coming home from dialysis at one in the morning so was a bit tired.

I would say it's more a roller than a wheel, but I know what you mean.

I'm guessing the OP is trying to press above and below the volume bit rather than rolling the actual wheel or wheeling the roll....

Yeah, just trying to help a little with the description - if you say wheel, people tend to look for something circular.

I was coming home from dialysis at one in the morning so was a bit tired.

Respect, don't think I'd try that, dialysis knock the doo doos outta you, hope you don't have to much longer on those machines.

 

As above just roll the volume button like the ole sckool wheel on a computer mouse, press it and the volume goes off, take care though it affects whichever volume is highest at the time so, if its Nav Anouncements you affect that volume only.

I now realise that, its after dialysis when my memory goes to pot, understandable after 14 years on dialysis, and will be for the rest of my life.
