Yeah I think that's the most comprehensive one around so far.  Their YouTube channel is pretty good actually and despite the name, all the reviews (AFAIK) as in English.  Most are 30/40 minutes long too and are quite good.

Its definitely quite hard to justify the L&K in the Superb III which is a pity!  Already they are ironing out teething problems with the suspension settings.  I'm sure there are a few more to come also.  A good reason to avoid early models of any new car!  Not always possible of course if you're in a company car or leasing situation.

So what does the L+K offer over the SE L?

I would imagine it would come to more than the basic extra list price if you chose to up spec the SE L otherwise why would anyone buy the L+K?

In the Irish market, the L&K has upgraded Canton sound system, sunset glass, foot operated hatch system, high beam assist, rear footrests (a joke if the same as current ones), drive mode control (or whatever they call it), heated rear seats, media command system, the usual L&K badges/seat stitching and wait for it......19" wheels as standard with no other options on wheels!!!

They did change the spec slightly before as the model progressed so that may happen again with bits and pieces added and taken off during the model life.

A lot of the driver assist systems are optional.

All for €42K in the 190 manual or €45k for DSG - same price as a top spec 190bhp Passat BTW!

I know that will differ from the UK spec. Hopefully you will get more there for the extra money because the above for €4k isn't really worth it unless you can get a really good deal

Thanks for posting the link.

It's nice that Skoda provided the press with both 2.0 TSi's to test, & that at least one magazine actually drove them!

I'm really tempted by the silly 280ps model, but I imagine that it will depreciate like the proverbial stone.

Perhaps I should start searching for a good used car in a year or so, but maybe not one of Skoda's press fleet cars.

(I must make a note of which "K" prefix they were using for the launch cars...........)

Cheers, DC

The 150tdi in that particular spec with DSG is probably one of the sweet spots in the whole range IMO
