Sorry if this is a repost but some great photos of a black L&K inside and out: http://www.auto.cz/test-skoda-superb-2-0-tdi-dsg-4x4-l-k-mladoboleslavske-dieselove-nejvic-87567

I would prefer a 4-door coupe, in the vein of a VW CC or a MB CLS

Interesting MK2 REVIEW,lets hope the mk3 goes beyond this,as I feel sure it will.

Possible good trade-in.

Although it was well ahead of the completion in 2008, Skoda did get a little complacent with the Superb as time went on and I still can't understand why they couldn't stick in a simple USB point and upgraded Columbus on the FL Superb - it would only have been a simple 'cut and paste' from the Mk3 Octavia and would have kept it fresher!  I think the technology issues (or lack of ) are well taken care of in the Mk3 to be fair and in fact are being pushed as a USP for the new model.

Skoda will need to stay on top of the technology however.  The life cycles of infotainment systems and other similar technology move at a much faster pace than the car manufacturers replace their models so accessible and regular software / firmware updates will be key if they are to stay ahead of the competition!

From these pictures, the tailpipes have not been exposed! Are they going to be very conservative even on hi-spec L&K etc?? I'm sure they can always use that strategy for their greenline versions

A positive review of the 1.4 there.  The current generation is known to be underpowered given that the engine is only the lower powered version so adding the 148bhp engine should make it a genuine alternative for those looking for a petrol model

looks nice but 35k for the top model, i think more people will buy a vw or an audi for a few k more

Actually the top model needs to be compared with an Audi A6 Quatro, or as this new one is bigger it probably is close to the A8, so very cheap in comparision!

Looks very Passat to me.

I know what you mean - although I think all D Segments look pretty similar these days. That said, I think this is far better looking than the Passat - lots more interesting surfaces etc, I love the way the rear lights wrap round the back and where the bonnet shut lines end.

I think the interior is pretty derivative but either with the light coloured L&K spec or the gorgeous quilted seats when cloth it still lifts itself to the top of the class!

Love it! Nice find. What colour do you think that is? Seems to be too light to be the grey?

Business Grey?

Loving those rear lights when lit.

Looks very sophisticated and very strong Audi lines from those angles !

I have it on my manual and I think I've seen it on the DSG as well - on the FL model with the more rounded top gearstick as opposed to the chunkier one found on the pre FL.

Really?? Can someone confirm for sure if FL DSG shifter has L&K written on the rounded top? What concerns me is not about L&K written but wondering if SUK may have changed the shifter due to some prob! Mine is a 13MY but bought it a month ago and was previously owned by SUK only.

Have a look at these photos (not the easiest to see I know) but you can see the L&K logo.

Thinking back again I did see one last year in a garage and it had the logo but it was the Irish market so maybe different with SUK
