Great news Trevor, both parts of your licence and a helmet will be needed, fuel is available in the paddock too.

 

 I will have the Jack, rattle gun, torque wrench, sockets and spanners, foot pump, pressure gauge, pliers, grips, screwdrivers, cable ties and gaffer tape and a few other bits, I also booked a garage, not sure if anybody else has but if they do we ask for the two to be together so we have a large dry area for repairs or storage of stuff.

Good idea, don't use a iPhone apps or Android, they seem quite unreliable get it tested properly.

My phone kept reading my Clio was 90db, then I tested the Fabia (for a laugh) and that read 90db... The Clio is stupid loud vs the Fabia so something wasn't right...

Tried that, MK5 Transit same as 1.2 Fabia and 1.2 Clio, I don't think so.

I use open face as visibility is much better, you will need long sleeves though iirc. Bring both helmets as I will have a few passengers to be passed around on the day

180 miles one way.... bloody long trip :( not practicable for me as I'd have to leave Friday, pay for the hotel and be really late back home mid-east Herts. Especially that Opentrack are doing Brands full day on the 9th Feb (Monday) for £129.

 

I love Opentrack organised events, they are the best on the market at the moment, great atmosphere and unbeatable price! Oulton Park is a little too far away for me sadly, otherwise I'd be joining you! Have fun guys and make sure to get that tuition, well worth it!

And don't forget to put vids and photos on.
