Brimma,

Another interesting for you. Enjoy!

Sorry, as Amanda suggested, I don't clink on spurious links which may or may not be interesting

And having a limited knowledge of computers and the internet I find myself in the position of being able to use a search engine (eg Google) to research anything which catches my eye

My 2p's worth I'm new to the forum and skoda ownership, I owned an 8p rs3 in misano red for 2.5 years, I bought it as an approved used, fantastic car in a straight line a bit tricky in the bends due to understeer at the time of purchase I had a very high spec scirocco r due to a newborn I thought it's time to have a 5 door, we've always had 2/3 cars given the choices I wanted an m1 at the time (I've had m's previously) but I chose the rs3. As stated above it understeered and would chew a set tyres in 3k something inherently not right with the set up that said I mostly enjoyed the ownership. In Jan 2015 I px ed for an a 45 amg decent spec exhaust 19's and so on straight outta the bag was far more "nimble" and a tad quicker the amg performance exhaust made up for the lack of 5 cylinder thrum! Thinking on now these types of cars have had there days for me and I can't justify spending 45k + on a hyper hatch for me it's a gen 2 911 turbo next or an rs6 avant

So has the Audi RS3 lived up to the Hype, as within less than 12 months it appears to be dropping down the pecking order rapidly.

MB reacted fairly quickly by updating the A45 AMG ,so will Audi do similarly and soon, to rectifying its well publicized shortcomings?

Any thoughts or knowledge?

My friend' dealership have sold one new in the last month and still have 2 x £45k demos up for sale on the forecourt .

Well our dealership must be a rare one as we seem to be selling between 3/4 new ones a month. And our demos seem to sell quickly.

Fringe of London, money no object Bankers etc.?

Not really Keith, just normal bods.

My Audi dealer friend tells me that the RS6 is the popular March 1st seller. Currently at 9 in his compound.

Yeah we had a transporter in last week with just RS6's on a couple were performance spec. They do seem to be gaining sales at the mo.

Yeah, he tells me that he has a couple of performance spec RS6' cars in the 9 he has..

My friend tells me that the dealership discount on the RS3is around £1800 which is similar to the discounters like Orangewheels.

Well I've finally collected my RS3.

So I thought I would share my initial thoughts and photos:-

Two RSs together:-

The car is really easy to drive as I was so nervous driving back home I didn't want to drive fast. Hopefully that wont last long.

Its probably not worth the money as for the same price can buy a really nice car from the segment or two above.

Also the S3 is offers excellent performance in the same package.

But at the end of the day you buy a car like this for how it makes you feel not by numbers or opinion of road testers.

So in the coming weeks and moths then I can tell if I made the right choice.

Enjoy your new wheels AJR77
