Be losing power through heat build up on third pull?

IIRC at CC Tuning all the pd powered cars ran lower figures after first runs

 

every DD RR i've been too they do 3 separate pulls and a pause of 30secs between each the 3rd run was always the most powerful and the then the average is take of the 3 to give your estimated output

Silky, I will get back to you when I get a reply off them. They did promise me 2 runs for that price though, and I did mention map swaps at an earlier date. Will keep you informed

 

 

 

 

I've updated this to include a reserve list. For this reason I'm going to put a cut off date of 14th February for all deposits to be received. Otherwise I'll open it up to whoever wants in on a first come first served basis.

Ok, so an update today. My two friends aren't able to commit fully - one due to his car being in bits still, and the other is due to go into Vauxhall for a new diff

New gearbox

As stupid as it sounds no parts are listed for the VXR gearbox,unless it's changed since we had ours done,they only list a complete transmission.

Common fault on the Vauxhall 6 speed,diff bearings go,then you get a nice whine in 4th gear,Sams needed changing at just over 30k miles.

Strangely... his Nurburgring only has about 30k on it also!

 

They've told him it's the diff, as apparently it's torque steering really badly. It's being done under warranty anyway...

There must be a mountain of these gearboxs sat somewhere, just waiting to be opened up and bearings sourced to repair them.

Was a bill of just under £2000 to replace Sams.
