1.6 TDI Remapping

On Thursday we had a customer that had found us via briskoda !! Only based a few miles down the road on Norwich (Norfolk) we collected the vehicle so we could make an early start.

The vehicle was an Octavia 1.6 TDI that required more torque, EGR Disable and DPF Flow modification. The Octavia 1.6 TDI uses the Continental PCR 2.1 that dose require unlocking (communication VIA OBD) once the unlock procedure is carried out the remap can be applied via the OBD port for life.

On this particular vehicle due to the EGR and DPF modification we were able to apply a little more boost and fuel than on a stock vehicle. Although we did not run the car up on the Rolling Road we expect a good gain in terms of BHP and Torque.
