Tailgate doesn't open and fuel filler cap popped open rear crash bar has pushed forward creasing and pushing up boot floor. That with all the other work that needs doing for MOT deems him sadly past repair. The engine and box is however excellent as is the aircon that has just been fixed and serviced. Actually I could keep him in the garden and use him as a nice cool place to be when the sun gets too hot. I wonder how long a tank of diesel would last on tickover ?

Makes sence to write it off then, It doesnt look that bad at first glance, just looks like a small dint in the boot lid really.

Never mind, use the money to get somthing els you want and forget about it

Keep filling it up with diesel and you have a permanent aircon'd office?   Remove front seats, install desk, use back seats to sit on.  job done.

Can even use cherry diesel to save costs :p

As Chris is out today I'll update it a little. Friday night I played taxi for my brother to pick Leo up. Driving back we stopped at a services for a couple of checks. Tried the boot and it opened fine, just a little sticky to begin with. We will get the rear bumper off to inspect the damage.
