Hi,

long time lurker, first time poster!

I'm interested in the new Octavia3 VRS Wagon (Estate). The wait times in Australia are over 6 months from order to build, so I'm here to keep my enthusiasm alive. I'm keen to hear from other current VRS owners about the car. My alternates are Passat TSI estate/Golf Estate, but both are down on power and don't have the same features as the Octavia. Skoda doesn't much of a presence here with VW and Audi dominating. The Skodas I have seen on the road stand out, which is great.

I currently drive a conservatively modified MkV GTI - I'm also keen to see if anyone with a VRS has upgraded their exhaust to get a more spirited sound - The stock exhaust is quiet and I'm not into simulated sound.

Hello, I’m Viper from Germany, a few people with more technical infotainment background might know me already from other forums and platforms. I’ve seen a few familiar names already. I myself don’t own a Skoda, but I’m home at VAG in general. However we do have a Skoda within the family. It’s a 2019 Skoda Karoq with the 150hp 2.0 TDI as 4x4. I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

Hi, I hit a deer and now need a left side headlight (part no 5E8941015). I have been let down twice by car breakers in the UK who advertise the item on eBay, but then don't have it. I have found the part I need, with this part number, but it is in the Netherlands. Am I safe buying this, or are parts for left hand drive cars different, even though the number is the same?

A while ago, a car parked behind mine decided to spontaneously combust, melting my rear bumper and the outsides of the light clusters, plus scorching the hatchback. The light bulbs themselves weren't damaged and still worked, as did my aftermarket reversing sensor system, none of the wires were melted. I got a garage to replace the bumper, hatchback and light plastics, but I'm having a problem with the "faulty light" detector as, whenever I turn on the lights, the bulb symbol on the instrume
