TSR Rolling road day - Results Posting please

Featured Replies

:D

As everyone took away their sheets after the RR sessions were done, can everyone please post up their results please, with mods too I should think. I';l start

Fabia TDI - some mods, PD130 conversion, hybrid, FMIC, green filter, cupra intake, decatted exhaust. No remap

140bhp at the wheels, estimated 165 at the flywheel - in 4th gear.

And it would have still beaten you Tigger on that bit of dual carriageway, had that moped not got in my way and I had to cut you up. :P  Although Tigger's car did damn well on the RR too.

cupra intake

What's the VAG part number for the bit of aluminium pipe then Jason??

Its "Allard turbosport" - Number is in google mate. ;)

I think for results purposes if we copy paste like this. It would be best:

1) Jason Fabia TDI - PD130, Decat, Hybrid, FMIC, Green, Cupra intake 140bhp ATW

I was really surprised at my results its only sposed to be a 130 bhp Engine

could have something to do with the go faster yellow colour and dirty bum :D

1) Jason Fabia TDI - PD130, Decat, Hybrid, FMIC, Green, Cupra intake 140bhp ATW

2) Tigger Standard Fabia vRS - Ultimate Deisel 30kmiles run in 136bhp ATW

3) Standard Octy VRS 4.5k miles Skoda Dealers Demonstrator 150 - 160bhp ATW

I didn't get to do a run on mine before fmic went on, only at the end once all was fitted.

Also, didn't have the fan on in front of the car and after a few runs, you could have fried an egg on the fmic, proof that it will do its job properly

Drive afterwards is quite different. There's more turbo lag, and possible a smidgen less power due to extra piping and pressure loss, but it holds it on, no matter how hard you push, so once clutch is sorted and another trip to a certain remapper is made, I'll leave it at that  - famous last words ;):D

Xavier wasnt your car running out nearly 200bhp when ross owned it

That was at the engine. This rolling road only measured power at the wheels and the typical transmission loss seemed to be about 30bhp for a FWD car so it's still about where it was.

Also, IIRC, it was "detuned" to save the clutch.

It will be "re-tuned" once clutch gets sorted ;)

More than happy with my result.

Fabia VRS usual cheap mods, AMD one click giving a BHP of 260+.
