Test drive booked!

Featured Replies

Just looked at my emails, week 14, late April for collection. I think I ordered mine a day after you and 2 weeks later to collect it. So guess its not built in order of orders. Works out well for changing insurance to be honest. I called admiral today to find out the difference. Same price?? 2.5l 5 cylinder vs 1.0l . I know values are very different but I bet the v70 has potential to do a lot more damage to other cars. I think once you are in a policy they know its hassle to switch so take the mickey.

  • Sorry, but stating something on a forum then putting - FACT after it is one of my pet hates! The fact is that 5 doors in citigos and ups haven't sold as well as the three doors. What the residuals

quick question, does the citigo have the new "flat" bladed wiper blades? Or is it the old type?

Still no delivery date

The Citigo has the new type of blades which slide in and out of the housing and are a doddle to fit.I now have Bosch blades on mine.

Bosch A556S twin pack for the front and Bosch A251H for the rear screen.Got mine off Amazon.

End of April they reckon, sold my car today so could do with it sooner! In ways I'm glad I'm not going straight from the audi to the citigo.

Probably wise; the Citigo will handle a darn sight better!  :D  :D  :D

The A4 wasn't too bad, it had the the sports suspension and 235 tyres so had good grip

LOL, I sold my bike on Sunday, although an easier switch, 1L 3 pot to 1L 3 pot, I doubt i'll be able to tell the difference.

just had an update from Skoda UK, car has been built and is in transit, they reckon 3.5 - 4 weeks until it's here, hopefully this a conservative estimate and it will be sooner. I'm not enjoying driving my mums 2002 1.0 micra (I sold my car last week).

What did they say about mine?

Phone them and you will find out lol. You need your SLI number though

Well i'm shocked and appalled that you couldn't be bothered to ask about mine tbh!!!! lol,, whats an SLI number!!!, oh and while were talking of numbers what number do I call!!!

Ask your dealer for the SLI number and contact skoda uk via their website. Yours is probably parked next to mine on the wagon lol

Well, apparently its train not wagon, and mines on one, so getting there, which is nice as mine was only running on 4 cylinders today, I imagine the getting them onto/off a boat, customs, transport etc will take a while though.  I did ask about your's but apparently reds a little, well quite a lot actually slower than other colours, so could be a while, sorry.

Red should take priority as they're the most popular [emoji6]

2-4 weeks for mine apparently. It is built which is progress. Looking forward to having a car less embarrassing than a 2002 1.0 green micra!

I had a green micra as my banger a few years ago, all be it a 1.3 auto(cvt), it would happily do quite a few quick cars off the lights, up to about 50.

OCD, your right, they are popular, I guess its the cheaper insurance with them being that little bit slower?

hopefully should have an update on Thursday! I've just looked at insurance - £160 all in, happy days!

Got told yesterday its being shipped and should be ready for me in 2 weeks, oh and £137.99 fully comp protected etc.

Got told today mine is still I transit and he will phone Monday to see what the crack is. Fortunately my mate is workshop manager and said he will hurry it through PDI so hopefully once it's here, it will be sorted quickly.

Almost 2 months since I ordered and still not in the country!

its not just you, when i got mine last week the dealer said they had been having issues getting cars over - he said they were built promptly but couldn't get them imported quickly for some reason

well apparently the stickerson a monte carlo are done at a different factory which is causing the delay, so I am guessing my car hasn't even left the second factory.

Looks like I am still weeks away from receiving my new car
