oil level woes

I've saw that video but I've read people setting clearances etc?

Is it as simple as follow the vid to remove then do the reverse to fit again and then fire it up?

I've read about the stretch bolts, also saw they're about £80 a set!? :(

Yeah really.

Just mind you don't drop any bolts/tools down inside the engine, block off the oil return ways with some rag.

Don't change your oil before doing seals, as quite alot of diesel runs into cylinders when you pull injectors out.

I remove the glow plugs to let any excess fuel be pushed out before trying to start the engine, just turn it over and you will see the excess fly out.

Just took this out of it! More than 4.3l there!

No water in it so I don't think it's a head gasket, i'll go with injector seals like someone mentioned..

I've put fresh oil and filter in it, only cheapo stuff but it's the right grade and will do for a week or 2 while I monitor the situation.
