DSG shudder

Featured Replies

Have you tried to reset the DSG adaptions? One way is using VCDS, but the quick way:

Open car with key

Put foot fully down on accelerator pedal

turn ignition key to ignition on (not engine start)

leave ignition on for 15 seconds

turn key off (keeping foot on pedal)

remove foot from accelerator pedal

Then start the car as normal and go for a drive in D, this can reset the self-learn behaviour on the DSG of that age, and it may just pull away/creep better and not slip the clutches as much to pull away.

@AussieAnth

Is your DSG part of the recall now in Australia?

yes, I'm getting it checked soon. Dealer said they are having to fix about 1 in 4 of Superbs.
