Boot pop.

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if the boot pop function can be enabled on the rapid(Spaceback)?

Every VaG key has the middle boot/trunk button but it doesn't work on the Golf from factory (unless you have it coded in).

For the Golf you can also change the bumpers and gas struts to those from other VaG vehicles so that when you click the middle button your boot opens up. It's done mechanically not via a motor.

Anything out there for the Spaceback?

Yes there are helper springs on ebay from somewhere in Europe.

Look for a thread I started - "remote control boot" or something similar- for links and videos

Have you tried pressing button for longer. 2/3 seconds

Sorry, yep found your original post with the info on.

I assume it's the same set up for the Spaceback.

Not found on ebay.uk for spaceback - have to hunt around ebay.de i think.

Thanks pal.

We need to up the Spaceback "scene" credentials and bring it to the attention of the Edition 38 Lads.

They do push boundaries when it comes to modifying and what can be done.

And churn out some high quality cars.
