can anyone help me out ?

 

my superb gearbox has decided to exit stage left, its a dsg with a gear box code of LQT

(the car is a 2lt cr diesel elegance hatch)

is anyone breaking one ? or know anyone that could repair it ?

Where in the country/countries are you from and have you tried goggle in your area.

Very early to have issues.  What mileage is on the car?

Yup.... Need your location, how many owners, year, engine, mileage, FSH or not..... if its any early failure you can push for goodwill from SUK; you 'll need the help of a good dealer too.

Has the DMF come through the side of the box or is it simply not going into drive anymore?

 

Got a feeling the DSG may be coded to the ecu as an anti theft thing so check that out before you simply try to donor another in, not 100% on this but worth checking before you lay the folding out.

hi peeps the car is a 2008 3t chassi, the car has got 108,000 miles on the car hadn't thought about seeing if skoda would help with the cost ill look at that tomoz :-)

 

its a new car for me, haven't had it too long,

 

im in Northampton, I know that the gear box that has to go in the car has to be the same that come out of it, you carnt change numbers,
