Todays mods: New badges, body colour grill, new interior bulbs etc

Featured Replies

So today Ive fitted my new toys:

1. Lights supplied by SuperSkoda. Roof, doors, boot.

2. Grill from Eurocarparts. Painted by my Dad (total legend and an excellent finish).

3. New front and rear Skoda and VRS badges.

4. Boot nets (this was the hardest install :D )

5. New numbers plates - No GB badge, or garage logos and website text. Nice and clean look.

My tip for badges removal:

Used a hairdryer to warm badges then used dental floss to cut in behind the badges to bring them off.

Some glue will be left behind so used 'sticky stuff remover' to remove residue.

VRS badge left the most crap but gave a light polish / cut and it was all good.

Like what you have done so far, but please, please, please NOT the headlight eyebrows!

"Lights supplied by SuperSkoda - roof, doors, boot" - were these LED bulbs just 'fit and work'?

I must definitely buy the boot nets.

The bulbs for the interior roof are leds on a circuit board with a connector that fits like factory. Plug and play, only thing to check is they are plugged in the right way as leds only work one way.

Door bulbs are normal size bulb and fitment but with a strip of leds inside glass.

Boot lights are leds inside moulded plastic just like the originals but sealed. Click and play although I has to remove the silver surround in the carpet for new lights to fit.

Looking good. How was the service from SuperSkoda? Looking to order some stuff from them but a bit wary as have read mixed reviews. I'm guessing you had no problems.

Package delivered within a week, no issues. Their prices are high but what can you do?
