Gutted as she was driving this as she'd not been allowed to drive the 270bhp 33 year old ascona!!

I see second hand bumpers I can get painted up with parking sensors and black pack grille, but where on earth can I get a 2014 fog and pass side lower fog grille

Can't afford to go through stealer as am supposed to be getting married...!!

pic tomorrow. Would have repaired if not got a hole in... But would still need fog and grille.. open to ideas and solutions.

From a bloke who's been married twice, each time spectacularly unsuccessfully, theres only one logical answer... bin the wedding ideas and not only get the parts you need for the repair, but save yourself from the financial misery that is being married... quids in.... If she doesn't like that solution, then shouldn't have dinged the car.... :clap:

a month before we got married, I took (now) wifes little 400 to work as I was late and my gsxr had no fuel.....

 

finished a night shift, left the carpark and lost the fron ton a tango bottle in the road..... in trying to save it, I managed to snap the mirrors and levers off and then still dropped it on the edge of a kerb and dented the tank (you could hear me laughing!!!)

 

it got the levers and mirrors fixed, we got married and a few months later, I got it repainted with some custom airbrushing etc etc

 

 

if it isnt too bad fix it after the wedding.... should keep you in credit for special cuddles in the meantime :-)
 

(didn't work for me, I had to wash up and hoover for ages instead!!! :-( )

Send it to the Stealers for repair, present her with the bill and tell her when you're married it'll become a joint expense, I like joint expenses, fuel is for us, have you seen my Fuelly sig. ???

Dunno what your excess or no claims position is like but i'd probably go the insurance route if you want a bob-on repair and dont want to shell out too much for it yourself.

How much are the parts from a main dealer?

I think the bumper is £380, but I can't find the honeycomb cover, or the fog lamps yet on a net search. Spose I could ring anonymously haha! 

 

Have been tempted by ins route, but never claimed, ever for anything! 

 

I have LOVED the responses and actually it's the first time she's smiled as I read them out to her, since she told me what she'd done..

 

Unfortunately now have to rebuild the neighbors wall!!!

 

She did buy me a double decker 5 pack though. I just wish that was somehow a euphemism!
