Just wondering because I seem to be getting a few more mpg than previously.

 

Could be that I filled up wth Shell rather than Supermarket stuff as well.

I noticed an improved MPG too on the last fill, up by 2 MPG.

 

However, I was still scraping ice off my screen the other morning here in York so I'd be surprised if the winter diesel was on it's way out just yet?

North of the Border and the north of England might have it being delivered from depots til the 28th of March. Lambing snows maybe yet and freezing fog last night at -3 in the A9O, Aberdeen flights diverted to Dundee.

Checked with my supplier this morning and winter diesel finished a few days ago from the refinery. Still some kicking about in supply though.

Funny you say this. I filled up this morning and the car seemed to go better. It was -1C too which always helps.

Last year I thought somebody posted a link to a site which held formal supply dates?

Will look when I get home.

it was the Tesco Fuel Spec sheet that gave the Distribution dates, 

but that site has now been changed.

I noticed an better fuel return the last days too... The old girl seemed more eager to pull... But I too just took her off supermarket fuel, ran out of discount vouchers. Never noticed a big xhangebefore tho so I may be sticking with branded for a while...

I found a link on Piston heads that just mid Nov and mid March. But that was back in 2005.

Yeah pretty sure the winter sludge is now gone from her
