Standard and Bailey DVs

Featured Replies

For those who wish to know what the standard and Bailey DVs look like, the standard DV is made of black plastic and is on the left, and the Bailey DV is made of metal and is on the right. (The Bailey is also available in blue, red and black.)

The standard DV looks like this when installed in the car:

And the Bailey DV looks like this:

When fitted by Jabbasport, the top connector fitting on the Bailey is removed and replaced by a right-angle fitting which results in a neat appearance plus adequate clearance for the plastic engine cover. The two crimp-on clips on the standard DV are discarded and replaced by Jubilee clips when the Bailey is fitted. The small crimp-on clip is retained for the top pipe.

(The flat-topped black plastic reservoir visible at the bottom left of the photos is the vacuum reservoir asssociated with the accelerator pedal electronic module. It part covers the No 3 coil pack and completely covers the No 4 coil pack.)

PS: These pictures are of SkodiRS's car!

Very funny, Mike! NO.

I think the red looks pretty. Wish my car had one:( Maybe it does, but I can't find one anywhere in my engine. Where do I look?

Foe anyone interested the N75 valve can be seen on the right of the DV.

Nice pics Denis....have to go shine the Bailey now.;)

Cheers.

Adrian.

Denis, would you mind resizing the pictures and putting it in a FAQ somewhere?
