Coming Home Lights

Featured Replies

I had the headlamp coming home option enabled on vcds. This should work by pulling back the light stalk with ignition off. This does not work. Anyone else use this option? Car is a 14 elegance.

You don't even need to tick that option. Mine does this if you use the pull back on the light stalk.

Though sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't.

I tried after my topic on this not that long ago, and your suggestion. I have no yet managed to get it to work. :(

it does work, it did it the other night. I will go out when it's dark and play about again with it.

You have to open the driver's door. Or I have to.

Ok to confirm.

Pull up and park with lights on.

Turn lights off.

Switch off ignition.

Flash headlights

Pull out key and open door

Lights will come on.

This didn't work for me, I might be mistaken but think this is only an option available to Elegance models and not S or SE models

Yep. It doesn't work on your car. Sorry, not very constructive...

Maybe a software/coding change between years.

I'll have a look with VCDS sometime tomorrow and see if anything have been ticked on the coming home light box.

If I have a chance I'll pop over and see if my aunts citigo does this.

It's possible it might well be only on elegance models...............

We have -13 Ambiente and -15 Elegance, and both works the same way.

Yes, I read on the Up! forum somewhere that only the high end models can get this feature activated

Oh the Sport then [emoji6]

I doubt it.

I think you have to have the ignition on. pull the headlight stalk and turn off the ignition. Pull out the key from the ignition and bingo. lights on!
