Ill .. debadge the tailgate too..

When I asked my dealer can he do it on a new Fabia he said they can not guarantee that the paintwork won't be spoiled after debadging so you might lose your warranty on paintwork. It's not a double-sided tape like on a new Ibiza for example but some sort of a stronger glue.

yer he said the same for me... he said I would be removing the warranty on the tailgate paint.. they are held on with the same crappy foam that all soda's use... a little bit of strong fishing line and some prep wipe and it will come right off :)

I've debadged all my cars to date and never had issues with paint.. especially when its this new.. the paint won't have had a chance to fade around the letters.

I debadged mine outside the showroom before driving home for the first time, they come off very easily :)

Did you pull them with a credit card? Or use fishing line?

Looks really good jcb, mine is still sat at the port waiting for a ride over so the wait is killing me :P

can't wait to get in it now though... then got the dreaded call to the insurance.. although it should be cheaper than I'm paying now!

Mine only took 2 weeks from manufacture to it being at my dealers? shouldn't be much longer should it?

Ye, one minute i thought mine was still in germany then the next thing the dealer phones me and says its at the dealer. Didnt take long at all.

Should be here next week hopefully so it will be around 2 weeks from when it was built.

There's a thread on here about the free insurance you can get with your Fabia. Check it out...

Nice looks best in Corrida I think...and I dont typically like red cars.

Heres mine. Although with standard wheels and suspension as by the time i wanted to add the options it was too late. Even so couldnt be more pleased with it.

Looks good regardless! Plus the ride will be a tad bit less stiff with regular suspension...

Took delivery of mine yesterday, absolutely love it! Done nearly 100 miles already. 5fecd62d0dc4130ffee9abd3a51bb46d.jpg876c7bd585a9edff7e9ed27b45b46f64.jpg

Like the Saltire images on the rear bumper.

Passed 3000km today just over 6 weeks after picking mine up (and I only have a 15km commute!)

Finding it decent enough on fuel but I was shocked by how quickly it was drinking it today on a 400km round trip all Motorway. I think I only averaged 35mpg though admittedly I was crushing close to 160km/h and it was a wet and windy day! My old Octavia VRS Mk 1 was as economical at that type of driving.

Like the Saltire images on the rear bumper.

Haha I didn't even notice.

For heavens sake Skoda give it some performance and DSG. 110 bhp would never win the Monte Carlo Rally would it?
