Hi All

I've been lurking around these parts for a little while now and having put a deposit down on a Yeti Black Edition today, thought I should join, express my thanks for such a useful site and say Helllo....Hello.

Now wondering if my chosen Black Edition is too just too black! Should I have gone for the white Black Edition? Eek. Black and white aren't the best options for country life, but hoping it will be a great car to live with and not as 'long in the tooth' as some reviews say.

Four more sleeps to go, can't wait. I'm currently driving around in our keeper Smart roadster because I've knackered my knee and struggling to use the clutch on my regular car. It's been fun being back in the roadie, but taking the roof off to get the dog in and out is getting beyond a joke.

I originally intended to go for a 1.2 tsi elegance. So a 2 litre, diesel 4x4 without the all the toys is a bit of a surprise, felt like a really good bit of kit when we tried it so fingers crossed she'll join the roadie as a keeper :-)

Should have also said, this will be my second Skoda - I had a Fabia back in 2000, so I've been through all of the Skoda jokes before.
