Hi, I fitted a new exhaust manifold gasket in January and it has started leaking again. Are thicker gaskets available? And can anyone recommend a specific make that is better quality and will last longer than a few months.  The manifold / catalyst fabrication was in good condition and appeared to have flat mating surfaces. 

Is this a common problem or am I just unlucky with this car?

Strange, they basically never fail.

If it is leaking and your sure, fit two standard ones.
