hello I was fixing broken wires to fix the power lock on the rear door. I found two wires that had snapped in the door. After putting them together the power locking system started to work again. But now the inner door handle doesn't work even after I turn the baby security screw.    Do you know which wires do what?   The wires I fixed were  a green thin wire and then another wire which was thicker and brown I think.

Maybe the baby security knob is not working?

 

This is a Skoda Octavia MKII  hatchback,  made in 2003/11   automatic gearing with  1.6 engine I think

well the problem is solved!  the wire was just stiff, needed some lubrication
