Ignition Coil Update

Featured Replies

Had my car serviced on Tuesday and asked if they could replace the coilpacks as my chassis number falls into the possible dodgy coilpack area ' date=' the answer was "no" , was told that if I hadn't had a problem by now then I probably wouldn't  , but service manager gave me the number for Customer Services and said that if they authorised it then he would .

So on Thursday I phoned Customer Services who told me that they couldn't authorise it , and that if one coilpack goes faulty then they will replace just that one , but if I have a problem with 2 coilpacks then and only then would they change all four :([/quote']

Well after a further phone call to Customer Services eventually got my car booked in for a coil pack "check" this morning .

Arrived at 8.30 and by 9.00 all was done , 4 new coil packs fitted .......but why did I have to go back again when it should have been done 3 weeks ago when the car was serviced ...........anyway all sorted now .

Thanks to Niki and especially Pauline at Customer Services for getting it sorted for me
