I would like a roof bar option for occasional transportation of ladders, bikes etc.

It needs to be good quality, strong, easy to fit and (importantly) not risk damage to body/paintwork.

Have had good service from a Thule set-up before......

I really want their edge bar system finished in black.

Always go for the genuine Skoda ones - always the ones that will fit properly first time.

I have a pair of Skoda Ones... They are so easy to put on. I was really impressed!

Re Thule, their web side does indicate some options (called Rapid System!), and it looks like a system can be purchased around £140 (some suppliers asking around £180)...

However, I do agree it might be the best way to stick with Skoda.

I have the genuine skoda ones for the normal rapid. Fit perfectly and seem like a really nice piece of kit. I have them for sale on here as I have a spaceback now if anybody is interested?
