Right well complete failure this morn, knew I should have fitted it on Sun.

Hopefully I'll still be able to rotate the selector to get the new arm on.

Last question I hope....would it be worth putting thread lock on the splines when I fit the new arm?

Right, all fixed, no time at all to fit the new part

I'd recommend replacing this anyway lads, cheap enough part and a straightforward fit, it takes all of the slack from the gear change.

so would be worth it to prevent the issue I had if your car is getting on (mines an 04), only adds 5 mins to the job of resetting your gear linkages (if you remove your battery box when you do it.

Thanks to Steveopc for his help with the part no and fitting advice.

Oh and one last thing, it seems to have stopped the issue I had of the car creeping forward with the clutch down...although I have have been imaging that. Lol
