well, as some of you know I picked up EO51 from Bossfox HQ the other week. A 1.4 16V 100HP Comfort edition in Fantasy Green.

Don't ask why but I'm one of those mad people who actually like the colour lol.

A mate of mine drove the 130 miles to pick him/ her (gender yet to be decided) up.

Looking a bit dull, a cracked N/S mirror case, faded headlights and a dodgy switch or two paperwork was exchanged and so began the drive back to Southampton.

But not before adding ~ 20 bhp in the form of two Briskoda stickers and some brand spanking new OE Fabia mats :D

Fill up at the local Shell

Despite all that, Sam said it actually drove very well.

Really chuffed.

I'd pretty much decided to drive him/ her to the Nation meet at Rockingham so Friday evening set to work

Rinse, snow foam, rinse, snow foamed again, rinsed and washed with a Noodle mitt followed by a G3 Clay Mitt and another rinse off.

New mirror casing bought and sprayed, headlights polished (in a hurry) with a Meguiars kit and about ready.

Saturday was the day of the drive to Rockingham and he/ she performed faultlessly and returned almost 50mpg despite a test on the A34 seeing a high indicated speed achieved ;)

After Rockingham, the drive home and with roof bars attached and two boxes containing a GT front and rear bumper kit (what could they be for?) another longish trip that was fun and hassle free despite the boxes having the aero dynamics of a brick (35mpg :D )

If anyone has a pic of EO51 at Rockingham, please let me know.

Thanks for reading :)

lower grille missing = because FGF Comfort model feature

Yep, howl  like a ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, something or other :D

probably use the OE steelies for the wheel cover holes on it.

Looking forward to seeing another FGF project

As for the plate, L3 FGF would have a good look to it on this - not bad for £250 :D

I like the look of this Lee.

Who knows, maybe in a couple of years there could be a FGF only meet...there are enough of you these days :)

Mmm interesting..
