As a guess if going on the past FL towards the end the model being 3-4 years old. Replacement model at 7-8 years.

This seems to be the norm for most manufacturers

Mk 1 was out for 9 calendar years.

Mk 2 was out for 9 calendar years.

Mk 3 came out 2013? so 2021?

The mk4 octavia will be out in 2018/19 and the facelift will be out next year sometime as now they replace model every 5 years now

My 3 years will finish in 2018, so could be good timing .

When Golf VIII comes out in some year in the Frankfurt show, the Octavia IV comes in the following Geneva show.

New Roomster comes first (after the new Caddy), then the Yeti II (after the new Tiguan). Then new Citigo II, new Rapid II (if), new Octavia IV, new Fabia IV, new Superb IV, etc.

And the all new bigger Yeti (the Snowman) might come some year.

Just don't get one built in first two months of production run, had a few niggles with my MY13 that should have been ironed out pre-production but it was MY14 before they really got their act together with the MkIII.

I kinda reckon by Q4 Y17 they'll have dropped the IRA Dirty Protest interior ! night be wrong though.

The fact you are surrounded by chocolate, stops you going out and buying more chocolate. Saves you money, and keeps the weight off.

But seriously, I like the the brownish interior better than the dark gray or White. Dont knock it 'till you have seen it the flesh. Pictures makes it look way darker than it really is.
