Don't think this is a option either on SEL spec, according to the latest PDF. But who knows?

coast2coast could not order the car??

Mine's a company car so ordered via the company but told the supplying dealer will be Norton Way Skoda.

Skoda Superb Estate 2.0 Diesel SE Business

Brilliant Silver

Zeus Alloys (zero cost option and less spokes to wash!)

Hill Hold Control.

At the moment I've got a 64 plate QashQai 1.5 DCI Tekna which I own, but due to a change in job within the company I've elected to return to having a company car as I'll be racking up the mileage...

I was told to expect it near Christmas or perhaps January.. I hope it's sooner than that otherwise the QashQai is going to get a beating!

That certainty seems like a long time especially when some of us have build weeks in the late thirties early forties ..... Is it because it's a company order ?

Don't want to worry or disappoint you but when I had company cars they would not register them in December due to lost resale value.

I've been given an unconfirmed build week of 47 (w/c 16th Nov).

I visited the dealer and ordered on 17th August.

Was hoping to get it quicker than that...

If it's through a lease company, they tend to give you a worse case scenario.

Ordered 6/8/15 through Freedom Contracts on a personal lease:

Petrol Blue

2.0 tdi 150 SE Business DSG estate

Heated windscreen

Heated front seats

Rear camera

Space saver spare wheel

From Skoda UK today, we are unconfirmed for build week 43. This will apparently be fixed & therefore confirmed by the end of this month. Delivery to be 2-4 weeks after this. Hmmm, must make sure lease co know about November holiday in Egypt!

It wouldn't surprise me one bit!

I had a similar issue with a Golf many many years ago.

That's the conclusion I came to. I was going to wait until the launch before ordering and then decided to take a 'leap of faith' and get the order in the system ASAP.  I'm not going to stress over it, it will arrive when it gets here. In the meantime I will blag a test drive at some point.

You might be right - I put it on the spec, on the basis that if it's available we'll get it - same with the rough road pack.

Ive ordered from Freedom (Petrol blue SE Business Estate too!) How did you get a build date?

I signed my deal very late pm on Friday 21st August and have just received proposed build week 45, week beginning 2nd November.

Was that with Bickerton Claymore.... I think you did say but cant remember... We did ours on August 23rd and have a proposed build week of 39 which seems early. I wonder if it's because they are building petrol's then and diesel's later on ????

That's right Nick - Bickerton Sheffield.

Maybe your engine is in better supply?

Whoop Whoop! Status has just gone from Advisory week 38 to CONFIRMED!

In fact it's exactly like this but I've gone for DSG and paddle shift.

Happy Days!

I've just had status 'built' from my dealer :)

And  'Book of Souls' is out tomorrow.....life is good!

My order is confirmed with coast2coast

150 Tdi SE L DSG hatch

Metallic - Business grey

Leather - Black

Colour maxi dot trip computer

Front parking sensor

Front/rear floor mats

18" Pegasus alloy wheels

Space saver spare wheel

I've been told that I'll get an update in 6 weeks. Tbh I'm not expecting to see the car until the New Year now, any earlier will be a bonus!

Cheers

Rory

Ive ordered from Freedom (Petrol blue SE Business Estate too!) How did you get a build date?

We asked Freedom for the order number. they had to request it from the dealer, and it took a few days as we called them on Friday pm before the bank holiday. They emailed the number to us, and I then called Skoda UK using the customer service number on the website. I think the guy I spoke to was a trainee, long hold times for any questions, and then a call back. But very helpful and polite.

I've also been told build week 41 today for my SE Business 150. Dealer placed order on 10 August. Maybe week 41 is a UK market week on the production line, is that how it works?!

Spoke to the dealer today, they're saying build week 41 is worst case scenario, quite likely to change to 40 or 39. I was pleased to be able choose a registration number from their allocated list, albeit the choice wasn't up to much! Got confirmation that they'll supply mats FOC too, yayy ;)
