Hello all, as the title says I've not owned my Octavia long but I enjoyed all 15 minutes of the drive home.... before that woman I'm engaged to took it to work, so I'm waiting twelve and a half long hours to have another shot. :'(

I digress, I'm new to Skoda's but not to VAG. I've just stepped out of a MK4 Golf GT TDi 130, which unfortunately it is looking likely that she will be getting scrapped shortly, Gerty you will be missed.   Anyway, might throw up a project thread at some point for the as yet unamed Race Blue Octy. Won't be anything huge happening to her but would be nice to keep track of the small bits and pieces I do.

Just a quick thank you for all the threads that I've looked through over the past week or two since setting my mind on an Octavia, they have been very useful to me in my search hence why I've decided to support this site, every Google seach I did for something relating to Octavias or Skodas in general always led me back here.

Just got home after picking it up nice 120 mile trip home avg 37mpg so im well chuffed did you get a chance to drive yours today

it's been hot, but grey and damp. My last few days with a panoramic sunroof and I haven't even had much chance to open it
