Hi just wondering if anyone suffers the issue of pre Christmas dash lights. I have had an issue where all 3 warning lamps came on and the code was for the rear left wheel speed sensor fault. Changed it. Same issue....... changed it again. Still same........... changed sensor and hub guess what....... same again these will not go out and have had it to 4 garages for repair or diagnostic clearing and it's now mot time and will certainly fail. If you had it how did you clear it? I'm getting to the point where il just colour it in from the back side so light can't get through

Are you sure it's not the cabling to the sensor?

What is the fault code logged?

That's a point never tested it il get multimeter out any idea on what voltages it should receive?

Unfortunatley I think mot stations now check for the lamps on ignition so blocking it off is not an option.

Was it an OEM replacement hub and the correct one for the car ? It is not unknown for non-genuine hubs to have the wrong coding ring so don't give the correct frequency of signal at a set speed.

You need to find a good local independent VAG specialist.

Share the fault code too if you have it...

Will do il take it to my local vag guy dub force just 60 quid an hours steep. I bought all parts from Andrew pages so bosh parts not oem naturally. If it turns out to be that these parts are no good il go mental as iv had many parts wrong or had to be returned due to fault already lol

Just looked at my last invoice from them.

Check ABS fault memory, showing fault with a rear sensor

reading. Checked measure value block, rear sensor has

erratic reading, suspect faulty pick up ring.

I guess that what u get for not buying oem parts
