I'd do it if I could be botherd. Costs very little to do, about £60. His are Ebay jobies anyway not darksides. Edit, may be wrong actually! Think they are DS. My bad.

Normally off the PD130 turbo etc the outlet points straight down.  Why is that red pipe coming in at an angle like 45 degrees.  I am more used to see a pipe coming straight down, then a 90 degree bend

There have been a few people on here who had trouble with that kit not fitting.

Mine was wrong, although not as bad as yours. The top pipe was fouling on the back of the headlight cover. They just made me another and it fitted okay

Oh  .. i say after cutting the back off my headlight cover ... and i fck load of other cutting around there including bashing the fuel filter bracket in !!

Daft question, but have you got it right way around?

I remember my mechanic saying one end of a pipe wouldn't fit, but turned out it was wrong way around.

Also, have you ordered correct kit for your turbo as I know the bottom pipe is different on VNT17 / GTB setups. :)

Yes i chose the right option

You can see the way ive fit the bottom pipe on the first image, if fit the other way, the bend would scrap the floor.

Maybe you need to clock and alter the turbo slightly. Other than that send it back and get a different pipe made.

darkside for you! I received very poor customer service goodluck! some 1 could make a fortune if they could make these pipes tidy at a decent price!

pipes darkside :)

hmm don't think the outlet ever comes straight down .. not heard this before

Mine comes out horizontally, the red pipe is a 90 degree, maybe the red pipe look odd as i was just trying to meet the two, but its never going to happen.

I had to have my pipe (the same 1 as yours modified) in order for it to fit, darkside didn't want to or offer any help/advise in anyway!

Holy **** thats miles out :(

Do DS state these pipes are compatible with ANY Seat sport style coolers though?

how cooler sits looks fine to be out that much their jig must have slipped again

Can you pm me details as to how to modify this ... I going to try and bodge a pipe from the old top and bottom, and get to Barnsley and get them to fit it :P Just out of interest as to how they manage this!!

ohh btw a quote from a email : "We only do one lower pipe for all Seat Ibiza, Skoda Fabia and VW Polo Models."

That may only do 'one'

But yet there's a few people on the here that have been supplied the wrong one.

I wouldn't settle for the answer they have given you. They need to sort it out. Are you anywhere near Barnsley?

Im from Lancashire, so not a million miles away but also not around the corner...i would guess at more than 50miles

If I lived that close i'd be up there its not fair they are selling these dodgy pipes at the price they are and they don't even fit its a joke

Im still im email dispute, thought i would add the images that ds have requested.

Do you guys think this turbo is situated in the normal position?

Looks a little bit far out.

All the ones I've had and refitted for that matter have been closer to the block, about 15mm maybe?

+1 if you rotated it closer to the block then it would be inline to where the pipe goes. And the 90 degree silicone bend should fit fine.

(I know what I mean in my head if that doesn't make sense lol)

I understand what your saying. :D

how easy is it to rotate in situ?
