Its the car's Birthday :)        1 year old

Superb L&K (FL)

Milage = 49301 Klm (30634 Miles)

Cost of ownership

3 services @ €170.00 each = €510.00

new tires at 25,000 klms ... replaced the original continentals with Goodyear €160.00 each = €640.00

(at 25000 klms all four tyres were not road legal (bald) , the Goodyear ones have a lot of life left in them

Fuel : Diesel : Average 1000 Klm per tank (sometimes less depending on right foot ;) ) Average cost per tank id €80.00 = €3944.00

Car care: Had the car coated with Optipro : (www.opti-coat.com)  (Some stone chips on paint but not bad) €450.00 (was screwed)

Various washes , polishes Detailing etc etc €1000.00  Total €1450.00

Grand total (excluding TAX and Insurance) €6544.00 (in Stg = £ 4706.34)

Things that went wrong: Bendy Light function failed, The Left Headlight had to be replaced . Slight rattle coming into Sunroof when its tilted.

Verdict: Absolutely Fabulous Car !!!!!  Would I buy another one ?? YES

Main dealer experience : So / So. (Arrogant and dismissive)

Good report about your car.

Shame not a good report about the dealers

Interesting, thanks for report.

I'm only just 4 months into ownership, so far nothing gone wrong, touch wood.

I find my local dealer excellent so far (South east)

Good to see you're happy with it. Pretty high mileage for a 12 month old car so obviously getting good use out of it! 1000kms on a tank is excellent. Best I've done is about 950kms. Shame about the dealer but I'm not surprised! I can't really complain about my dealer to be fair but I've a feeling dealer experiences will get even worse as the economy gets back into shape, whatever level of customer service we got over the last few years will go out the window and the dealers won't even try anymore as cars will start shifting themselves again!

Just renewed membership

The pic here was taken yesterday..

High mileage , but its kept and minded like a baby

Hopefully , will try to get a 162 combi next year

(but may go for the 4x4 version next time :) )

I had mine about the same time as you, fantastic car, even though I have done 7500 miles in the same time Lol  that includes 2 holidays a 1000 miles each... so in all does about 100 miles a week :(

Helps that I have the Seat Ibiza I use all week and the Superb at weekends and holiday's

Mine's approaching 3 years and 26,000 miles, which includes two trips to Lithuania and one to Hungary, so if you exclude these I do about 6,000 miles per annum.

About the same as me....

I came back from holiday yesterday in the Superb, loaded up, AC on 70 MPH averaged 55 MPG which is not bad....

Although I do almost 100 miles a day in the Ibiza 4 days a week... that is 4 years old and done 81000, great little car...

Good report, says a lot about the brand. Mine now 18 months old and still looking young, would like to say just like the owner  :D Hand washed only, two bucket rince, dried then canuba waxed. Two small stone chips at the front waiting fro summer to arrive to I can around to sorting it out.

Only issue is an annoying rattle from the passenger side footwell, sounds like pipes chattering.

Dealer cannot offer much in the way of advice. Still trying, have sent them a recoding of it, still waiting for a response. There is a willingness to help but I am not sure they know what to do. I suggested they send the audio file to Skoda UK to get etc. advice.

Wow, you must be crossing continents with that mileage. Good to see drivers getting use out of their Superbs!

That's about 45,600 miles in our money!!!  And Estonia is only a small country.

I work most days in Brecon which is the town where I live. My journey to work is 0.9 miles going there and 1.0 mile coming home. It's further going home around Brecon's one way system!

I'm not very likely to clock up a big mileage!

   I see more 'Zero's' than anything from those images  :D  :D  :p

Had mine about the same time, 7500 miles, still love it, still smile when I drive it, and it is still my "Pride & Joy"...

Need to look at options when I replace the Seat Ibiza I use day in day out... 2011 car now done 80000 miles, although new engine fitted under warranty at 60000 miles... Quite fancy a Rapid 1.6TDI 105/115 when I change, had one as a loan car and quite happy doing my 100 miles a day at 75-80 MPG

My daily commute is about the same as yours and I'd find it difficult to leave the Superb on the drive everyday and do that much driving in a much smaller car. Would you be tempted to use the Superb as your daily car at some stage?

"Yes" and "No"... The Ibiza is a good car for the trip I do, and now some bright spark decided to remark all the car park at work out the Ibiza just fits in some spaces... I would have no chance with the Superb ..

The idea was that if I purchased a smaller, cheaper car for work it did not really matter how many miles I put on it, it had 16000 on when I collected it 4 years ago now has 81000... It made more sense to me to do that on a cheap car than something that cost me a fortune..

If I started working closer to home I could get used to using the Superb.. :)
