Picked up some engine mounts from the breakers other day. Took a few phone snaps whilst i waited for them to go get them for me.

Also bought myself a catback stainless exhaust with anni tip. Came up cheap and couldnt resist. Can't decide what exhaust to use now tho haha.

Got my 205/45 tyre's put on the rear. There is now chance or any rubbing now, I could probably get away with going a bit lower now but i already scrape on speedbumps haha. 

Also gave it a good wash, fit my Honeycomb bumper grills and smoked indicator lenses.

Managed to find another cheap votex rear and another anni front splitter. Once the weather is better i will be cutting one of the votex ones up to suite my anni tip.

Finally got my Bora Sport clocks in as well, massive thanks to @ for sorting them out for me and putting all the nice extras on aswell. Needle sweep is satisfying.

Accidentally bought myself a full genuine Votex kit, Front splitter, Rear Splitter and Side skirts all for £150 and added bonus it's all painted Indigo Blue 

 

Getting Cambelt and Waterpump done soon.

Thank you, the current wheels cost a lot less than the previous as well haha. On the look out for some 18's as well now tho. 

New Headlight's turned up today. Very similar to Anni ones but they're genuine Hella's, brand new units never been fit. Got them at a bargain price of £85. Can't wait to get them on

Votex side skirts, Votex front splitter, 20mm spacers on rear and Hella headlights went on this Saturday. Couldnt wait until they where painted, i'll just get them painted whilst they are on the car. Loving how it is going to look, the headlights looks so well. And like how the wheels now fill the rear arches properly. Mud flaps need to go and didn't have time to get the rear Votex splitter on

Sooo, I accidently won these 4 Pot Brembos for a ridiculously cheap price. Came off the Fiat Coupe but they're exactly the same as the one's on a Leon Cupra R. I believe the same callipers are used on Leons, Peugeot 406 V6, Fiat Coupe's, Focus RS and Some Evos's. So there is a pretty wide range of car's to search for to try find a bargain haha. I'm manily fitting them for the looks. I've been told all they need is a repaint. Does anybody know if i will need bracket's to fit these or will they go straight on to my current 312 carriers?

New wheels are on, getting the curbing that the previous owner did sorted in the next few weeks. Bola B1 18x8.5J with 225/40 Yokohama Parada Spec 2 tyres all round. Tyres are basically brand new. Really happy with his they look. For a 18mm spacer up front to clear the coilovers they sit pretty flush and surprisingly don't rub at all. Just need spacers on rear now. Here's the pictures....

 Thank you mate. Mines far from being good tho up close it's a bit shabby haha. Indigo Blue is a awesome colour. Tell him to get on here to share progress. Would be good to see another MK4 on here haha

So... The rear end is starting to look good now. Finally got my rear splitter and smooth boot on, just need to paint my spoiler and get that on now and get my descrete back box on. Also removed the mud flaps as well, finally haha.

Also need to get that drivers side skirt fit properly, it's all bent in the middle. Hoping to be able to heat it up a bit and get it to retake it's original shape.

Still no updates on the car, been stock piling parts for a while now. Currently have sat in the shed waiting to go one is;

Stainless Steel descrete exit exhaust, 
Colour coded bumpers,
Non rusty passenger wing, 
R32 Spoiler, 
Air Suspension (waiting on air line),
Brembo front calipers (need to pull my finger out and get the adaptors sorted).

Also got all the parts together to do a full head rebuild on my spare cylinder head, just waiting to free some cash up to buy a camshaft. 

And might be getting some full leather seats out of a Seat Toledo, full electric with the nice addition of memory. They look exactly the same as the ones I have now but are full leather instead of half leathers.

So the turbo went pop the other day. Decided to strip down the engine etc today and turbo is destroyed, camshaft is worn badly, rounded off bolts in the inlet manifold, rounded off bolts in the bottom crank pulley and I've had enough. Golf is now up for breaking and everything is available. It's the final straw with the car now I've decided to cut my losses and give in. Will be sad to kill it but I'm sure I'll find something else. 

Sad times mate. I'd be interested in some of the bits, I'll pm you.
