Just joined the forum and recently bought a 2006 Octavia VRS with the standard Stream system.

 

I can't find a thread to help me with answers so forgive this post.

 

What are my best options regarding hooking up an iPod to the stereo?

 

Not fussed about an expensive Dension kit that gives me full functionality and happy to control through the iPod to save £££

 

Just can't be doing with CD's or local radio!

If you have a Stream Mp3 version then you should have an aux socket or it's easy to add one.

I hard wired a Kinivo BTC450 Bluetooth kit into the car using the Aux socket - works perfectly and cost me about £30.

i use a connects 2 box plugged into the CD changer port in the back of the Stream radio, I use it to plug my mobile phone into mainly so i can listen to digital radio though an app on the phone, Sound is very good too.
