Hi, Steve. Welcome to Briskoda. :D We have an Ask a Tech forum where expert advice is much appreciated by our members.

Ooops. I see you have found it already.

M.K? Do you work with Ross then? :)

Welcome! :D

No Jason he did the training in M.K, thats where all our training is done now.

When did you pass master tech Steve? We were the first lot to do it last year, just wondered if Skoda had altered any of the tests as yet?

I've also got the gearbox course to do nect month with Colin, about the only course left for Master techs..lol

was in second group... started in oct and finished in december. all changed now.. lot harder and they use an outside company to mark results etc..are you going jan 25th? which colin do you mean?

Im doing transmissions at the begining of December with Colin Capp.

I started Master Tech in Sept/October 04 and finished begining of Dec iirc.

Shame Ross left, he was pretty good as a trainer I thought.

Welcome from yet another fellow master tech*

Christ we have a wealth of know knowledge on here now :)

*may not actually be true

I have no reason to believe that Steve isnt a master tech, dont know him personally as yet but he has more time on the brand than myself.

Will be a valuable asset to the site.

I think I am well on my way, I already know how to replace the black wheel nut covers with silver ones ;)

Out of interest is mastertech a VAG thing or a Skoda thing and how many do we have in here. Obviously there's Lummox (who we would be probably be screwed without) and now we have meetsteve. Are there any others?

With the amount of times I've rung you / PM'd you, I must be half way there too. At least now the burden of "me" can be spread two ways. :D

Hi Steve - You might get a few Q's from me along the way. :D

Yeah just don't make the mistake Lummox did by giving him your mobile number

Most manufactuers have some form of master tech. However the VAG scheme is basically the same for all brands under the VAG banner, all training done in M.K at the same place.
