Delightful! Very refined! Lovely colour, fantastic classy combination with the beige interior.  Understand totally why you fell for it!

Mine is a Black Magic combi also with beige interior. I love it.  I care for the leather once a year with a 2-stage leather care 'system'

- first with a brush and foamed saddle soap - restores the colour (jeans denim blue rubs off on the beige) and the matte finish

and then I seal it to protect against colour transfer for 6 months or so. Now 3 years old, still looking like new.

All the best, Rob in Switzerland.

Thanks, I'd find the black paint work a lot more difficult to look after than the leather!

My previous mark II (Black paint) had a beige leather. Wouldn’t have it again. After 10 yrs and 180,000 miles was quite grubby despite cleaning and conditioning.

67 MK iii is black metallic with black leather. Much prefer it.

due to work I often have to climb in dusty and dirty, black leather is the best option for me xxx

Emerald green here.

The Chrome treatments r completed 😊
The front bumper now has matching trim with the sides n rear tail lights.
I also used black vinyl to blacken the chrome bit on the lower grille.

Looks like the factory L&K trim now.

Saved myself almost a grand had I  sourced the original Chrome trim bits.
Pleased with the results 👍

Thanks 🙂

I've got 15mm hub-centric spacers front & rear.

Been more than 1.5 yrs with no issues.  Still have 2 factory fitted tyres. The other 2 had to b replaced thanks to screws on the road.

What - all of them?

I didn't set the bar height but was just thinking of the ones on the wings.

@john999boy - we don't get the L&K here in Oz.

I've just copied the side & front trims of the L&K, and i copied the rear trim of the facelift.

I'm not a fan of the L&K badges either.

I've got Superb badges on the fender wings.

I've got Superb lettering spaced out on the boot, instead of the Skoda lettering.

So yeah, my Gandalf is a freakish mix of different things. 😁

I don't want to do the L&K badge injustice 😉

TBF I have to agree that the L&K font isn’t the most appealing one.

I prefer the look of the Black Sportline hatch further up the page.......hang on that's my car doh.:hi:

Me too, absolutely. They gave the car the distinct "sport sedan" attitude I was after.  They are Ispiri FFP2 Gloss Black in 19x8.5 ET37  in case you where wondering!
