It's a function of the asymmetrical design.

Who cares as long as they look good and are easy to clean.

It's mainly a question of manufcaturing costs. Only one foundry mold instead of 2 for both left and right wheels. ;)

Separated at birth no doubt.

As it's a Sportline, it won't drop that much – I'd say go for it, unless you've got prohibitively high speed bumps like here in London. Looks mean, man. 👍

Cheers, I'm collecting opinions from several people at the moment but it will probably end up being decided on a coin flip :D

Yeah, I think they gave the car the look I was after, I will order some Skoda plastic stickers to go on top of the Ispiri caps as I don't like aftermarket logos etc. and I think that might just make them perfect in my eyes.

Those wheels look awesome @newbie69 🙂

I strongly think the Eibachs ProKit will make it perfect.

the H&R might drop it a bit too much for ur liking.

I will probably pull the trigger on a set. As I'll be doing it myself, what else needs recalibration afterwards apart from alignment? Lights leveling system? ACC?

Officially, the ACC radar, A5 camera, PDC sensors and headlight leveling - using specialist calibration equipment.

With drop being only 20mm, it hasn't affected the ACC or A5 at all.

I manually adjusted the headlights done a couple of mm.

The PDC now triggers (in the background) next to "tall" kerbs, but it's not annoying.

Right... I think the car looks great at stock height then :tongueout:

srsly all that? pfff

I've has this little beauty from new since Nov 2016, there's only 6 months left on the current contract hire lease. Looking around at a replacement at the moment and I've got to say nothing else really comes close, particularly in terms of standard specification. It will definately be the plug in version this time as most of my miles are within my hometown and I know I can eek out thousands of miles on one tank of fuel in the warmer months of the year having already had this experience with our second car - a Kia Niro PHEV. Dilemma is that the Octavia VRS plug in is due shortly and the Enyaq will be due early 2021. Having has a 2014 Octavia VRS I do know that the Superb does feel more grown up and more refined, but the new car does look a bit of a game changer and then the Enyaq, that definitely will be a game changer. Decisions, decisions??

freeglide - have you got an intermittently working light in your tailgate? mines like that, only the other way round. if I give mine a tap, it comes back on.

Had to climb a ladder to take this one.

No it’s just the camera angle. I’ve a set of high powered superskoda leds versions.

The dealer put a new set on the car when I bought it. I did not get a choice of tyre though.

Good luck keeping it clean. I had a sprint yellow Octavia vRS and it barely lasted a day before showing signs of roadgrime.
